Princess Alexandra of Isenburg has been found!

May 1, 1903

Princess Alexandra of Isenburg has been found, according to the Marquise de Fontenoy's latest dispatch.  The twice married and twice divorced princess has seen her share of "financial difficulties" and was reported missing.  Several German newspapers were seeking information on her whereabouts, describing the[princess as a an "absconding debtor."

The princess has turned up in Switzerland, as the new owner of the Hotel du  Lac in Uttwil on Lake Constance.  She is now living at the hotel, where she plans on taking "personal management" of her new property.

It will certainly be a "novel experience" to stay at a hotel owned by a princess, who is addressed as Serene Highness.  She is related "to half the reigning families of Europe," and her sister, Princess Gerta, is the wife of Prince Wilhelm of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.

Princess Alexandra was the second child of Friedrich Wilhelm Prince of Ysenburg und Büdingen and Countess Anna Fobrzensky von Dobrzenicz.   She was born at Wächtersbach on December 28, 1855.  Her first marriage was to a cousin, Prince Adalbert of Isenburg-Büdingen in Büdingen.  They married in 1855 and were divorced two years later.  Her second marriage to Baron Robert von Pagenhardt took place in 1878.  This marriage ended in dovorce in 1899.
